Mineworker's statue at Nuriotpa, Barossa Valley.

Historically allegoric statue of a miner - at Nuriotpa, Barossa Valley. In a time of Great Crisis, 30s of 20. Century, this was one of the most prosperous places throughout the country. It had provided jobs for thousands of miners, both in surface and underground mines. Copper had been mined here. Even nowadays, you can notice torsos of mining holes & small lakes with water of a beautiful turquoise, light green - light blue, color - containing Cu2O, cupric oxygen (?). Nevertheless, the fame of this place got stuck in its past.
